I'm never the one for buying things as soon as they come out, but seeing this new benefit mascara as the gift in the ELLE magazine intrigued me.
First of all, the packaging is gorgeous, like always. Not only does is come is a beautifully designed box, but the mascara itself is sturdy and even better, the lid is a metallic pinky-gold.
For the mini size, I was actually surprised as I had been expecting a much smaller product. The wand easily stretches the length of my lashes and has a slight upward curve to it, which gives your lashes a full effect. This also claims that the tiny bristles on the wand act as hooks, which enables you to get away without using an eyelash curler. Saying this, in the photos above, I had used an eyelash curler beforehand. Application is quick and easy and the product pay off is good. toryisweird bocamymota
Compared to my favourite mascara by Clarins, I would say Benefit still haven't quite hit the top spot with their mascaras, but this conclusion has only taken the mini version of the Roller Lash into consideration. Price wise, this mascara is set to be sold at £19.50. Up very high in the price range, can Benefit match the quality of the product to its price?
At the moment, I've read that this mascara is exclusive to the march copy of Elle magazine only, however the launch of this mascara is going to land in stores soon.
Overall, paying £4 for both a magazine and brand new mascara was completely worth it, I am very happy with the effect this has on my lashes and will be looking to purchase the full size when it comes out in stores.
