It's very rare for me to go from having nothing to having two of the same thing, but this was the case regarding facial brushes. You have most probably seen my Clinique brush from my Christmas haul, but I thought now was the time to focus in depth on it seeing as I was sent a very similar product from Magnitone.
This brush comes in four shades: yellow, blue, green and pink. Yet I chose to be slightly different and picked the limited edition bright pink one. I was so excited when this arrived a week ago, I've been using it morning and evening every day. All was well at first, however, after around three days I had noticed that my skin was raw red, and it had to be the brush as my facial wash had not changed. I dug a little deeper to research what I was using, and found out that I had been doing an intense wash morning and night, which was not the best for my teenage skin. Quickly after realising this, I began doing the sensitive cleanse and the results were a hundred times better, my skin glowed and my blemishes faded. The brush has a built in timer, which beeps to alarm you to move on to the next area of your face. On top of this, it came with a cute pink headband to ensure that all of your hair is kept of your face. All I would say if you were going to invest in this brush is make sure you know what setting/cleanse you are doing in order to notice the best results. Size-wise, this can easily fit into a wash bag, I took mine away with me last weekend and all was fine, just remember to keep the cap for the brush head safe. Overall, if your skin is a little older or known for being less sensitive, I would recommend this brush for you. That's not to say that if you do have sensitive skin that this brush would be a bad investment.
(I have left the links in the product names, but you can also buy both brushes from Boots).
Do you use a face brush? If so, what one?

Great review! I'm avoiding using these because I imagine it's really easy to overdo it and scrub your skin to no end - besides, my skin is dry and sensitive. Glad these are working for you!

I use a foreo luna but would love to try these brushes ! I am just afraid that my skin would get irritated cause it's so delicate !

ReplyDeletewww.beyondthevelvet.blogspot.co.uk
Yes, I was a little edgy on the price too, but then there's the Clarisonic which is a lot more expensive but these do the same job! x
DeleteSee I'd prefer the Clinique one looks/brand wise but the Magnitone does sound better!

Interesting to hear about these! I don't know how I feel about face brushes, I do think if you have skin problems then they are probably a good investment but for my normal skin they seem a bit of an expensive extra! Good to know these work well for sensitive skin as I always presumed they wouldn't! xx
