It just so happened that I purchased the No7 foundation thanks to a £3 off voucher Boots were handing out. I had only ever tried skincare from No7, so this new horizon intrigued me.
I opted for the second lightest shade: Cool Vanilla. Colour wise, this is the perfect match. I could even get away with not blending the foundation down my neck (however I am too careful to never not do this).
Anyway, in comparison with my only-ever-other-used-foundation, (the Rimmel Wake Me Up), I must say that I do much prefer this one. It could be down to a personal preference because the No7 foundation is very much matte, whereas the Rimmel one certainly doesn't hold back on making your face look ever so
For a medium coverage foundation I was surprised with how light it feels on the skin. Now we all know those brands who try to sell a face product with the made up idea that you can't even feel it on your skin. Well, this you can feel on your skin, but it's the sort of product that you like to feel.
The only downfall to this foundation is the packaging. What a nightmare of a mess this pump causes me- so much that I am worried that half the bottle will not even make it onto my actual face.
Minus the poor packaging, I do really love the finish which this foundation gives. I purchased this for around the £15 mark, and, for what it's worth, I applaud No7 for this product.
The next foundation which I want to try is one from a high end brand. So, if you have any high end foundation recommendations, please let me know below in the comments.
