My Everyday Eye Makeup

Before I begin, please do not comment on the state of my brows, I, myself, am appalled.
Anyway, I start off with a clean canvas, using Bare Study from MAC as a primer on my lids. I simply apply this over my whole lid just using my ring finger, making sure I've covered any redness or discolouration which may be visible beforehand.

Taking my MAC 217 shadow brush, I apply a generous amount of the shade Half Baked from my Naked 2 palette. I mix this with the shade Suspect to create a perfect, warm toned brown base.

Then using my two brushes from Ecotools, I blend this powder pigment into my crease, making sure I focus primarily on blending to create a more subtle look.

Eyeliner wise, a liquid one from Eyeko's never fails me, especially when I'm in a hurry and can't spend ages perfecting the line. I don't think you could class this look as a cat eye, however I like to wing my eyeliner out a tiny bit to make my eyes look a little bigger.

After curling my lashes, I take my new favourite mascara which is the Be Long mascara from Clarins. I apply a fair amount onto my lashes, and find this really lengthens and volumises them.
And that's it, my finished eye look. Obviously I don't have time to do this look everyday, but when I feel like wearing a little more makeup, this is my go-to look!

Spring Wishlist 2014

Hello! Over the past weekend, I have been shopping and browsing in lots of different clothes and beauty stores. Consequently, I have put together just a few things that caught my eye and decided to share them with you guys!

·          • First of all, I saw this Brandy Melville dress online. This is called the Yuria dress and is around £18 ($30). I love the sunflower print and especially the round cut out back- this can be really flattering!
       •  To the right of the dress, I have put this lush bikini top from Hollister. I saw this in store yesterday but I knew I wouldn't be purchasing it considering it was really expensive at £29 for the top and £19 for the bottoms! However, if you were to have lots of money, I would definitely recommend this bikini as the lace detailing is so precise and has a really pretty shape.
    • In the top right corner I have a YSL lippy, I have seen many people on social media hyped about these lipsticks however I am very aware they are also very expensive! Although, when I swatched one in store, the colour was lovely and the pigmentation was fab!
    • On the second row, I have a Canon 600D camera. I often see Youtubers either using or complementing this camera, however I would be keen to own any Canon! The thing which I love about this one though is that the screen flips around, so you can see what you're recording!
    • Next, I have a 'follow your heart' tee shirt from Forever 21. This top was very cheap and would fit perfectly with a pair of high waisted shorts in the warm weather!
     • Below, I have a MAC eyeshadow in 'Expensive Pink'. I love this rich pink colour with hints of shimmer in, especially for spring! Apparently, some of the eyeshadows compare very well to the Naked ones, however I am yet to try or own either!
     • To the right, I have a beautiful lace romper from Hollister. Yet again this is very pricey, however when seen in store, this would look amazing to wear when on holiday or at an evening meal.
     • On the bottom row, I have a MAC lipstick in Creme Cup. Literally everyone I know owns this lippy, so when I go on holiday in a couple of weeks, I will stop off at Duty Free to pick up this luscious lipstick!
     • Next, I have another bikini, however this one is from Gilly Hicks. This is around the same sort of price as the Hollister one, although many of their bikinis are in the sale, and when brought here they are an excellent price yet still excellent quality! I love the ruffles on this bikini, although it doesn't nearly compare to the lace one!
    • Finally, I have a pair of Topshop shorts. Yesterday I was browsing in Topshop, looking for the perfect pair of shorts for this summer. I found this pair, however they were available in three different colours; light blue, blue or dark blue. I chose just the blue beacuse they were a rich colour, although I would definitely recommend all three pairs. The thing I love about these shorts is they look like Levi's ones but less expensive!

That is it regarding my Spring Wish List! I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you would like to see another one soon or any other post, let me know in the comments and will be sure to reply!

Thank you
